Last Week of School!
My Dear Fifth Graders,
This week is our final week of the 2019-2020 school year. It certainly wasn't how I imagined our final week together, but you sure have made this experience for me a very special one. You have been SO resilient, eager to learn and grow, and present. I can't thank you enough for putting forth such outstanding effort and creativity throughout this process. You have overcome new ways to navigate technology, communicate, and learn in a remote setting. Bravo to YOU and enjoy your summer, my Flanimals!
>Please read my morning message in the HOMEROOM Stream (Google Classroom).
>>In the Classwork tab your daily SLIDES are posted for you!

How is this our last full week of school? WOW! That happened so quickly!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. The weather was PERFECT! Outside was where we spent our time! A lot of kiddie pool and water table activities, bark mulch spreading, and discovering my new F A V O R I T E ice cream! Dairy free and absolutely delicious! (See my picture above!)
Check out the NBCS FIELD DAY HYPE VIDEO! It is AWESOME! Next week will be so much fun! Hype Video

I'm always here for you! Please feel free to reach out for a Zoom, phone call, or email!
I can't believe this is our last full week of school! AH!
Enjoy your activities!
Welcome to Week 11!
I hope you all had an enjoyable long weekend!
The weather was outstanding, and my family and I spent a LOT of time outdoors!
We had two BBQs, played in the sprinkler and kiddie pool, ate ICE CREAM, went for walks, got bark mulch delivered (exciting, right?!), ate breakfast on the deck (SO peaceful! I highly recommend on a nice morning!), did some cleaning and organizing, and of course, planned for Week 11 of learning!
I feel so refreshed and ready for a new week!
How was YOUR long weekend? I'm looking forward to connecting with you this week!
**Remember to check the HOMEROOM STREAM each morning! That is your "Morning Message" and I post important daily reminders and updates for you there.
Please see ZOOM meeting days in Homeroom under the Classwork tab (Week 11).
I'm always here for you! You can request 1:1 Zooms as well!
Have a really nice week, I miss you!
I'm just so proud of you, I just had to tell you again! Thank you for continuing to do your best in these circumstances, working hard to learn new information, communicating with me, and continuing to be inquisitive, kind, Flanimals! I hope you enjoy Week 10, it will be a fun one! =)
How was your long weekend? I've shared some pictures below of mine! I was BUSY! I did some meal prep for Vera (sweet potato burgers and cauliflower, broccoli and quinoa muffins-SO good!), and caught up on some chores (always a good time)!
We went back to Joppa Hill Educational Farm in Bedford to check out the animals! I love that walk so much! We're outside getting exercise on the little hike AND seeing adorable animals. There are now piglets! They're SO CUTE and energetic!
On our way home, we stopped over to Bedford High School! I showed Vera where she will someday graduate!
Have a really nice week! I miss you SO much!
I have posted today's morning message in your HOMEROOM Class Stream in Google Classroom!
I am trying to reduce the number of places you need to visit each day.
So, I will be moving my blog there!
Please read the morning message very carefully, as there are some small changes!
I hope you have a really nice week! I miss you!
